The Yangshuo Culture House is a unique, comfortable, convenient and friendly hostel, making it a hidden gem in Yangshuo. Wei, the owner, is extremely accommodating, and he will organize everything for you, including local tours, evening performances, and even domestic and international travel. His family is just as wonderful as he is, so you really feel at home. The home-cooked food is so far the best Ive had in China!!! YUMMY!
The Yangshou Culture House is a diamond in the rough. It is a unique opportunity to do a homestay with a Chinese family along with other weary travellers. Wei speaks very good English and is very helpful in local tours and booking onward travel plans. In addition to the affordable accommodations which include home cooked Chinese dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, you also have the chance to learn about the cooking, the language and even Chinese ink painting and characters. It is very quiet nestled right next the mountain and only a short walk into town. Dont miss this rare opportunity. It thoroughly enriched my visit to China!
My wife and I had the best experience at Yangshou cultural house. We can’t speak highly enough about the owners and the assistance, the fantastic meals and allowing us to be part of their family. When my wife and I think of china we think of the Yangshuo cultural house.
If youre after a home from home this is the only place to stay. A short walk from town the culture house is a taste of real china. Wei the proprietor offers classes and advice by the shed load- not to mention free food which is absolutely delicious. STAY HERE!

阳朔文化小屋-阳朔昌盛文化艺术交流中心（Yangshuo culture House）是一家服务热情的家庭旅馆，我们有标准间，大床房，亲子房和三人间，房间配套齐全、舒适卫生，并有冷暖空调及无线上网等设施。我们坐落在一个宁静的居民小区，紧靠美丽的山峰，早上起来可以聆听小鸟在唱歌和呼吸新鲜的空气。这里的环境优雅、舒适，交通便利，距离西街和阳朔公园大约只要 10 多分钟的步行路程，阳朔汽车北站近在咫尺（步行约 5 分钟）。附近有阳朔公园，阳朔西街步行街，夜市与大排挡，饭店，农贸市场，银行和超市。在这让您远离城市的喧嚣，领略到阳朔的山水之美，跟西街的热闹繁华和阳朔的民俗风情！
I am pretty sure this is the best hostel in Yangshuo. Wei’s family hosted us for a couple of days. They were really nice to us and made us feel like home. We had breakfast and dinner prepared by them and everything was delicious. Wei helped us plan with several things: from helping us get to the bus station on departure to suggesting best routes for biking in Yangshuo. Room was big, clean and beds were comfortable.
Probably my favorite hostel experience ever. I had the single room and was delighted to have a full western bathroom, delicious meals, and was treated like royalty. The owner and I shared tea and wonderful conversation for several hours. The next day it was raining and so he was happy to drive me to the bus station and write down what I needed to communicate in Chinese. So helpful! If I return to Yangshuo then I’ll stay here again.
This was the best Hostel we’ve stayed in so far. They were really hospitable and you really felt at home. The rooms were large and clean. The Hostel was well placed in relation to the inner city. The owner was also super helpful if we had questions or needed help.
